Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. The Promoter

  2. The Competition
  2.1. These terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on the Promoter's website at https://www.hi24.co.uk (the "Website").
  2.2. All competitions are skill-based competitions. Entry fees for online entries are payable each time you enter. Where the Promoter offers an easy or multiple-choice question, a free entry route is available.
  2.3. To be in with a chance of winning, everyone who enters the competition (an "Entrant") will be required to correctly answer a question set by the Promoter (the "Competition Question").
  3. How to Enter
  3.1. The competition will run from and including the opening and closing dates specified on the Website ("Opening Date" and "Closing Date"). All times are UK time (GMT/BST).
  3.2. The Promoter reserves the right to change these dates if necessary. Any changes will be posted on the Website.
  3.3. All entries must be received by the Closing Date and time. Late entries will not be accepted.
  3.4. The total number of entries for each competition is capped and displayed on the competition page.
  3.5. You may enter up to the maximum number of times stated per competition. Free entries must be submitted individually (bulk postal entries = 1 entry).
  3.6. To enter online:
    (a) Visit https://www.hi24.co.uk and view the Competition Question;
    (b) Select your answer and number of entries;
    (c) Complete the checkout and payment process;
    (d) You'll receive a confirmation email with your ticket number(s).
  3.7. All entries must be in English. Non-English entries will be disqualified.
  3.8. Free entry by post:
    (a) Send a handwritten entry on a postcard to:
     [Your Full Name], hi24.co.uk, [Your Full UK Address]
    (b) Include:
     (i) Your full name
     (ii) Full UK address
     (iii) Email and phone number
     (iv) Competition name and your answer to the Competition Question
    (c) You must have a registered account on hi24.co.uk for your postal entry to be processed. All details must match your account.
    (d) Incomplete, illegible, or bulk entries will not be accepted.
    (e) Entries must be posted (hand-delivered entries rejected) and received before the Closing Date.
  4. Choosing a Winner
  4.1. Only Entrants who correctly answer the Competition Question will be entered into the live draw.
  4.2. The winner will be selected via Google's Random Number Generator during a live video on the hi24.co.uk Facebook or Instagram page.
  4.3. A public list of correct-entry ticket numbers may be shared during the draw. You may opt out by emailing us 48+ hours before the draw.
  5. Eligibility
  5.1. Open to UK residents aged 18+ only.
  5.2. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are excluded.
  5.3. The Promoter may request proof of age, identity, and residency. Failure to provide this may result in disqualification.
  5.4. Automated, bulk, or fraudulent entries will be void.
  6. The Prize
  6.1. Prizes are as described on the competition page (e.g., iPhone 14 Pro Max, tech, or store credit).
  6.2. All prizes are items or non-transferable store credit – no cash value unless explicitly stated as a cash prize.
  6.3. Store credit (if awarded) will be added to your hi24.co.uk account and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.
  6.4. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value.
  6.5. Prizes are not transferable and must be claimed by the winner directly.
  7. Winners
  7.1. The Promoter's decision is final.
  7.2. Winners will be contacted within 48 hours via email or phone.
  7.3. Winners have 14 days to respond or forfeit the prize.
  7.4. The winner's first name and town/county will be published on the Website and social media (unless you opt out by emailing us before the Closing Date).
  8. Claiming the Prize
  8.1. You must claim the prize personally. Third-party claims are not accepted.
  8.2. If your contact details change, notify us immediately at [your email].
  8.3. For physical prizes, delivery will be arranged to your UK address.
  8.4. The Promoter is not liable if you fail to claim your prize.
  9. Limitation of Liability
  To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation or prize use, except where caused by the Promoter's negligence.
  10. Data Protection and Publicity
  10.1. By entering, you agree that your data may be used only to administer the competition, in line with our Privacy Policy (available at https://www.hi24.co.uk/privacy).
  10.2. Winners agree to the use of their name and town for promotional purposes (opt-out available).
  10.3. We may share winner details with the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) if required to prove the competition was run fairly.
  11. General
  11.1. These terms may be updated. The latest version will always be on this page.
  11.2. The Promoter may disqualify anyone acting fraudulently or against the spirit of the competition.
  11.3. The competition will run regardless of entry numbers.
  11.4. These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
  11.5. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Apple, Google, or any social platform.
